The number of sales of residential properties (condominiums, single families, and multi-families) in Cambridge decreased by 7.2% in the first half of 2015 compared to the first half of 2014. There were 322 sales in the first half of 2015 compared to 347 sales in the first half of 2014.

Total market volume decreased by 9.63%. The first half of 2015 total volume was $279,122,732, compared to the first half of 2014 volume of $308,875,304.

The average sale price decreased by 2.62%. The average sale price in the first half of 2015 was $866,841, compared to $890,131 in the first half of 2014.

The median sale price increased by 2.65%. The median sale price in the first half of 2015 was $677,500, compared to $660,000 in the first half of 2014.

The lowest sale price was $270,000. The highest sale price was $3,900,000.

At the end of the first half of 2015, inventory was down 27.18% from the first half of 2014. On June 30, 2015, there were 67 units on the market. On June 30, 2014, there were 92 units on the market.
