Cambridge Market 2016 vs 2015

The number of sales of residential properties (condominiums, single families, and multi-families) in Cambridge increased by 9.3% in 2016 compared to 2015. There were 858 sales in 2016, compared to 785 sales in 2015.

Total market volume increased by 21.82%. 2016 total volume was $848,906,673, compared to 2015 volume of $696,832,881.

The average sale price increased by 11.46%. The average sale price in 2016 was $989,402, compared to $887,685 in 2015.

The median sale price increased by 9.53%. The median sale price in 2016 was $756,844, compared to $691,000 in 2015.  

The lowest sale price was $250,000. The highest sale price was $7,100,000.

At the end of 2016, inventory was up 55.17% from 2015. On December 31, 2016, there were 45 units on the market. On December 31, 2015, there were 29 units on the market.
